How it all began

Yowalka and Esteban first met as coworkers at a local non-profit in 2012. They worked in different departments so they didn’t interact much. Years later, in 2015, a connection was made between the two at an off site Christmas party. They began talking and their shared interests in Social Justice, Art, Music, Sports and Dominican Culture made for great conversations.
After a few dates the two knew something stronger was brewing.
On September 25, 2016, they went to the Mets vs. Phillies baseball game together. After seeing NY win 17-0, Esteban made the move and asked his “organic Dominican” beauty to go steady.
They had their civil ceremony on January, 2021.
Now they are getting God’s blessing in the sacrament of Holy Matrimony and hope you can join them in celebrating.
